Are you a thrill-seeker gal? If you are excited about doing things to get your adrenaline going and blood pumping then you are a thrill seeker. I know you want to climb a mountain, hike at the national parks and kayak down the rapid waters. For an adventurous chick like yourself, a beach bliss or spa retreat vacation may not cut it for you. But, I have good news for you……
America has nearly 3,794,101 square miles of amazing nature places to see. Being able to see it all will be a challenge. However, it shouldn’t be hard to plan your hiking, camping, kayaking or backpacking trip. That’s why I’m going to suggest some vacation ideas to satisfy your adventurous side….
- Tubing and Camping in Gold Country: Experience the best of both worlds with sandy beaches, tubing in the lazy river and camping at night on the resort. You can enjoy all aspects of the outdoors. And, you can’t go wrong with that!
- 9-day Tour of 7 National Parks: Take a big bite of the elephant by visiting 7 national parks in one scoop. You’ll see Arches National Park, Canyon lands National Park, Mesaverde National Park, Zion National Park, Grand Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park. How cool would it be to see sand dunes, pine forests and sunset-red deserts?
- Hiking, Rafting and Kayaking in the Rogue River Gorge: Get an awesome experience both on and off the river. One day you can go hiking or rafting and the next day you can go kayaking in the rapid waters. Either way an adventure will be waiting for you.
- 2 Day Backpacking Trip in California; You probably didn’t know California offers some of the best backpacking spots in the country. You’ll have a choice of backpacking in northern or southern California. Head up north to see the coastal views of whales and seals or head south to see wild-flowered meadows and golden grasslands. Whether you travel north or south, you’ll see California’s great outdoors.
- New River Gorge Camping & Rafting Trip: During the day, you can go white-water rafting and zip-lining. At night, you can enjoy the camping experience. A great combination for enjoying the outside.
Discovering America’s great outdoors may not be as hard as you think. And, you will have a lot of fun doing it. So, go ahead and climb, hike, kayak and explore all you can. Eileen and I have a lot of things on our “adventure bucket list” and this summer we are going to tackle some of them. And, we are so excited. Tell us where you are going or would like to go.
