I’m getting a double whammy…It’s Mother’s Day and my father’s birthday. I’m taking care of Dad with home cook breakfast and a great baseball game. But, right now I’m going to focus on Mother’s Day because mothers are so special. Moms are there for us through our heartbreaks, disappointments and victories. There are always in our corner…no matter what! So, I truly believe mothers well deserve their special day. That’s why I give my mom the honor she deserves….even though it may put a hole in my pocket 🙂
However, I know several people are very sad around Mother’s Day because their moms are sick or deceased. It’s a hard time to get though. And, if your mom isn’t here with you physically, then it’s okay to cry. But, don’t spend the whole day crying. If you are a mom yourself, enjoy letting your kids pamper you. If not, then do something great for someone else. It’ll make you feel good to put a smile on someone’s face.
Nevertheless, if you are blessed enough to still have your mom here, then make sure you spend some quality time with her. I’m taking my mom to a really nice Asian restaurant; P.F. Chang’s and I brought her a massage package for her to relax. I know she’ll love it!
So, Happy Mother’s Day and enjoy your day. Leave a comment and let me know what you are doing for Mother’s day or simply tell me what you are doing for your mom. I can’t wait to hear it! Take care and I’ll talk to you soon.
Hugs,
P.S. One more thing, here’s our special moments Eileen and I have with our Moms…..check out our Mother’s Day Board
