I have to say, the summer is going by so fast. And, here we are at the last holiday weekend of the summer. It’s Labor Day…which I call chill out day. Let me give you a little history lesson…..
As we all know, Labor Day is on the 1st Monday in September, in celebration of the American labor moment, and recognizes the commitment of social and economic achievements of all workers. Labor Day tributes the contributions American workers make to strengthen and prosper the United States.
For all of you hard workers (I know there are a lot of you), this is your day to “not work” and relax. So, in the midst of your travels, shopping and going to barbecues and parades make sure you really enjoy it….because you worked hard for it 🙂
I started my Labor Day weekend early. I went to 2 free classical music concerts, Music under the Stars (NY Philharmonic) and the Christmas Cantata (yes, you hear that right, Christmas). Just listen to some awesome music performances…..
I want to wish you a happy and safe Labor Day. Have fun and come back with some great stories to tell. Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know your plans for this weekend. Ciao for now!
Hugs,
