I have good and bad news for you. First, the good news, gas prices went down. Yeah! But, even though the gas prices are lower, airline tickets are still expensive. Why? It’s simple. Airlines don’t owe us anything and they don’t have to do us a favor. They are going to take advantage of the situation and make their money….that’s the bad news, right? Not necessarily. With every bad cloud is usually a silver lining. There’s a way around paying high price airline tickets. Here’s my little trick I learned and I had to share it with you…..
You should know finding a decent priced airline ticket is only half of the battle. The other half of the equation requires you to tap into your travel hacking wisdom. What do I mean? Well, it doesn’t always make sense to travel hack a trip. For instance, if you need to fly from NYC to Washington D.C. and you find a ticket for $100.00 round trip and you only had 25,000 frequent flying miles, and then you are better off paying the $100 bucks and use this trip to accumulate more miles for a bigger trip down the road…like Hawaii or Europe. However, if your frequent flying miles are going to expire next month, then by all means travel hack it!
See my point? Good. More travel hacking tips on the way. I’ve been travel hacking for year and I will share the tricks of the trade. I promise! Penny for your thoughts. Leave me a comment and let’s chat.
