It came down to the final moments. I was standing up with my eyes wide open and waiting in anticipation. And, my buddy was sitting on the edge of her seat biting her nails. No, we weren’t watching a scary movie. We were doing something much better than that. We were at a baseball game….you sporty gals know what I’m talking about 🙂
To be exact, we were at Yankee Stadium. We had the privilege of seeing Derek Jeter play in his final home stand games of his career. Although I’m a Mets fan, I’m still a New Yorker and I wanted to be part of this special NY moment. It was awesome to honor a respectful and humble athletic.
Another special NY moment in my cap….I saw Andre Agassi final game at the U.S. Open and now I can add watching Derek Jeter’s final season as part of my collection of monumental moments. By the way, I was able to go to several baseball games in NYC…Mets (Citifield) and Yankee Stadium. And, I want to share it with you….
So, I hope you are getting my point. I want to encourage you to add some pep into your travel and adventure agenda such as going to the Olympics, Super bowl, World Series and start your collection of special moments. Tell me what you think and leave me a comment. I’ll love to hear from you. That’s it for now. Take care!
Hugs,
