It’s that time of the year. And, I love it and couldn’t be happier. Last night, I brought the Christmas tree (there’s nothing like the smell of fresh pine throughout the house). Every year, my mom set up a special theme for the tree. She uses different color combinations like red and gold, green and silver or even multi-color. She even matches the gift wrapping paper with the Christmas tree colors. And to top it off, she has a display of collectible Christmas Barbie dolls with unique ornaments and trickets in her curio. It looks magificent! That’s not all, she has wonderful Lenox nativity scene that lights up in her bay window. Plus, she has a very decorative Christmas table with matching table cloth, candles and plates. My house is deck out for the holiday in a very classy way 🙂
With this entire Christmas theme pattern going on around me, it’s not a surprise I wanted to venture out to the Festival of trees event. I didn’t know what to expect but I wanted to find out and get into the Christmas spirit. So, me and Eileen grabbed a bunch of our friends and headed out to see the Christmas trees.
Would you believe the Festival of Trees was in an aviation museum? Go figures! Anyhow, there were so many talented designers who decorated Christmas trees. Creativity went wild because I didn’t even imagine seeing so many different themed Christmas trees…… vintage Victorian tree, all season tree, precious moments tree, fireman tree, Harley Davidson motorcycle tree, Disney tree, Barbie tree, special miracles tree, artist inspired tree, gingerbread tree and the list goes on. I couldn’t believe how far the imagination went to design these Christmas trees….take a look at what I mean!
What talent, right? I love it when creativity soars. Are you doing anything creative to your Christmas tree this year? If so, please tell me all about it. Just to give you a heads up, the colors for my Christmas tree is…drum roll please…..red and green ornaments and clear lights. Leave me a comment and tell me my thoughts! Take care for now.
Hugs,
